For agencies and resellers

An agency holds many workspaces, brands them as its own, and never shows our name to its clients.

Three levels

The platform, then agencies, then workspaces.

A sales-training company or a consultancy can run the product for its own clients, each client in its own workspace.

What an agency controls

  • Branding is per agency. Its logo and name appear on the sign-in screens, the lockout pages, and the app chrome its clients see.
  • The way out of the app follows the same rule. The agency mark is a link to the agency's own website, in the app chrome and on the signed-out screens alike: sign-in, sign-up, both invitation pages, password reset, and every lockout page.
  • An agency with no website configured is never sent to ours. Inside the app the logo just goes back to the dashboard, and on the signed-out screens it is not a link at all.
  • Agency staff can look into a client workspace to help, and a banner says so plainly while they do.
  • Each workspace still brings its own Anthropic key. Agencies do not cover their clients' analysis costs.

Moving people between workspaces

On People, every person has an Edit workspaces button. It puts someone into any workspace under the agency, or takes them out, without opening that workspace first. Search the list by name or email to find them.

What it does depends on whether they already have an account:

  • They have an account. They are in the workspace straight away. No email, nothing for them to accept.
  • They do not. They get the ordinary invitation to accept, because nobody should have an account created for them that they never asked for.

Seats work exactly as they do when inviting from inside a workspace: the workspace's own paid seats are the limit, and setters do not use one. Seats belong to the workspace, not to the agency.

Taking someone out is refused while they still hold contacts, whether they own those contacts or only follow them. Move both first, under Contact ownership on that workspace's Team page. The refusal comes with a button that takes you there.

Changing an existing member's role still happens on the workspace Team page, where the manager assignments and the last-owner rule sit next to it.
