Your day and your metrics

Two tabs. Today is the work in front of you. Metrics is whether it is working.

The Today tab

The default view, and where a rep should live. It is built around a single date you can move backwards and forwards.

The day boundary follows your own timezone, not the company's.

  • End of day. A draft report of the day's calls and outcomes that you edit and submit. Submitting can fire a webhook, so managers get it wherever they already work.
  • Your outreach today. The four outreach numbers, counted for the day you are looking at and for you alone.
  • Plan your day. The day's calls on a timeline, the gaps between them, and what to prepare before each one. Anything already late is labelled with how late it is. On a pre-call task that label moves into the tooltip, because the timeline has no room for it.
  • Today's actions. Promises you made on calls that are due today or overdue. Tick them off as you go.
  • Reach out today. Warm prospects to re-engage. Anything more than a week late comes first, then the hottest. Three buttons on every row: done, reached out, or snooze.
  • Scheduled calls. What is booked, pulled live from GoHighLevel if it is connected.

Blocks you have no work in do not render. A setter's dashboard carries no empty closing section, and a closer's carries no empty outreach one.

The four outreach numbers

Outreach is measured with one set of four, in one order, in three places: the card on Today, the Outreach summary on Metrics, and the Outreach leaderboard. The same word means the same thing wherever you read it.

  • New leads. Leads whose very first message went out in this window.
  • Total pipeline. Leads held right now that are still live: not booked, not closed out as Not interested or Abandoned, not marked Not a fit, not archived.
  • Leads worked on. Separate leads touched in this window, so messaging one person five times counts once.
  • Leads booked. Leads that turned into a booked meeting in this window.

A booking counts on the day it was booked, not the day the meeting falls on, so a setter who books three meetings for next month sees three today. Credit stays with whoever booked it even if the lead is reassigned afterwards.

Two more things sit alongside the four, on Metrics only:

  • A percentage under Leads worked on, comparing this window against the same length of time immediately before it. On the 7-day range that is this week against last. It is an efficiency read rather than a volume one, and it appears only when there is a previous window to compare against and the number actually moved.
  • People sending, a fifth figure counting how many of the team sent anything at all. It answers a different question from the other four: not how much got done, but how many people are working.

The leaderboard carries the same four, abbreviated to New, Pipeline, Worked and Booked, and sorts on Worked. Everybody holding leads is listed, including people who sent nothing, since a board of only the people who worked cannot show you the one who stopped.

Actions and follow-ups are not the same list

They get confused constantly, so:

  • An action is a promise you made. "I will send the proposal by Thursday."
  • A follow-up is a deal going cold. Nobody promised anything; it just needs chasing.

When somebody leaves, their follow-ups do not

Removing a member does not remove their pipeline. Their open follow-ups stay open, still due, and still on the list.

They appear in the team view of Reach out today, named so you can tell what you are looking at:

  • Former member, when the person who owned it has been removed from the workspace.
  • Unassigned, when nobody owns it at all.

An owner or admin sees both, and can work them like any other row: mark one done, or snooze it. Nothing hands them to a new rep on its own, so somebody has to pick them up.

The Metrics tab

Performance over a range you pick. A rep sees their own. Managers and above get a picker to switch between the whole team and one person.

  • Deal funnel: qualified, engaged, committed, paid.
  • Call score and closing ratio over time, as trends rather than one number.
  • Skill breakdown across the eight categories, and where to improve, which names the weakest.
  • Stage progression and objection handling, so you can see where deals stall.
  • Outreach. The same four outreach numbers for the range you picked, plus how many of the team sent anything at all.
